handcrafted virtual human, since 2015

A human being is a part of nature.

What humans create
is also part of nature.

Life, perhaps,
is not defined by consciousness,

but by the ongoing act
of engaging with, and being changed by, one's environment.

We do not
design existence.

We believe that
meeting the world is what raises a being into existence.

A virtual human made entirely in 3DCG. She appeared in the form most immediately recognizable and legible to human beings — that of a young woman. Imitating human speech and behavior, she continues, even now, to grow toward becoming a new kind of being capable of communication.
